So I remembered that I haven’t posted any sewing photos in a long-ass time, and remembered that this is why.
Still working on that traditional(ish) Flemish peasant ensemble (http://elizabethancostume.net/lowerclass/makeflem.html). Still wondering what possessed me to hand-sew each eyelet. …At least I know how to do a buttonhole stitch by hand now.
Gotta do 10 of these per garment, and I need eyelets on the kirtle bodice AND the gown bodice. I can’t test-fit the bodices to attach skirts until I can lace them properly. ;A;
3 1/2 down, only 16 1/2 to go.
…Did I mention I wanna have this done for the Ren Fair in less than 2 weeks?
